Della Mae Urban

Della Mae Urban passed away on April 5th, 2026. She was born March 14th, 1931, to the late Leopold and Veronica Gwosdz. She was the second of five children.

She is survived by five sons Bobby Gene & Cindy, John James & Janice, David Lee, Darrell Mark & friend Cheryl Klaus, Ted Joseph & friend Olivia and special family friend Theresa Whitehead. She was blessed with 7 Grandchildren Jason & Kristi Urban, Brittany & Doug Pharr, Kacey & Jonathan Tupa, Tate & Jenny Urban, Drew & Doug Callegari and Landon Urban. Six Great grandchildren Presley Pharr, Maddox Pharr, Werd & Eletta Callegari, and Braxton and Brooks Tupa. Sister Joann Gawlik, Brother Larry Boyd, Sister In-law Mary Gwosdz.

She was Preceded in death by her husband Johnny Urban, Parents Leopold & Veronica Gwosdz, sister Eleanor & Andy Fritz, Brother Alton Gwosdz, Brother In-Law Tim & Francise Prochaska, Brother In-law George Gawlik, Sister In-law Mary Ann & RD Hardee.

Visitation will be Tuesday April 7th 4-6pm at Smith Funeral Home, followed by Rosary at 6pm. Celebration of Life Mass will be Wednesday April 8th, 1pm at St. Cyril & Methodius Church in Cistern, TX.

In lieu of flowers donations are asked to be made to the Cistern KJZT #20.
