Elton August Moeller

Elton Moeller, 85, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on August 10, 2024. He entered this world on February 15, 1939 in Moulton, TX, born to Edmund Moeller and Lillian Zimmermann Moeller.

Elton owned and operated Moeller’s Service Station and Garage for many years in Flatonia, but also enjoyed farming, ranching, his bulldozer and tractors, gardening and hunting. Elton served his Country proudly while in the United States National Guard.

He is survived by his wife Henrietta Kalina Moeller; sons Mike Moeller (DeDe), and Steve Moeller (Cindy) all of Praha, TX; three grandchildren: Charles Kocian, Haley Moeller, and Chandler Moeller (Hannah); three great grandchildren: Flynn, Adeline and Declan; one brother Edmund of San Antonio, TX and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Elton was preceded in death by his parents and brother Otto Moeller.

A Visitation for Elton will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 from 9:00-9:30 AM followed by a Rosary being recited at 9:30 AM and Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM, officiated by Father Gabriel Maison all at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Praha, Tx. Interment will follow in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Praha.

Serving as pallbearers: Charles Kocian, Chandler Moeller, Pat Kalina, Eddie Hernandez, Glenn Kalina and Robert Moeller.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Praha, Tx, Hospice of South Texas or donor's choice.
