Francisco Javier Almazan

Francisco J. Almazan, beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Calabazas, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, he later planted his roots in Waelder TX, where he built a life filled with love, hard work, and cherished moments.

Francisco is now reunited in love with his late nephew, Timothy Almazan, and his grandparents, Ricardo Almazan, Concepción Camposano, Leonardo Guerrero, and Dolores Ponce. He leaves behind his devoted parents, Miguel and Esperanza Almazan, His loving siblings: Maria (Carmen) Manzano, Andres Almazan, Teresa (Robert) Aviles, and Miguel (Cynthia) Almazan. His legacy continues through his children, Adriana Almazan, Idahlia Almazan, Marina Almazan, Alanis Almazan, Sadie Almazan, as well as his eight beloved grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Francisco found joy in working on cars, tending to his home, barbecuing for his family, dancing with his loved ones, and caring for his loyal dog, barbie. Above all, he treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren.

A Rosary will be held on March 25, 2025 at 6:00 PM at Smith's Funeral Home, 128 E Fifth St, Flatonia Tx, with visitation from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will take place on March 26, 2025 at 2:00 PM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Waelder TX, followed by burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Ramiro Manzano, Robert Aviles, Deondrae Fields, Jesus Sandoval, Benjamin Perez, Raymundo Ontiveros, Anthony Almazan, Jeremiah Almazan, Josh Vargas, and Trinidad Quijas.

Honorary Pallbearers: Kyngston Fields, Solomon Rodriguez, Kameron Fields, Kayson Fields, Jahsiah Thompson, and Akio Thompson.
