Georgie Mae Lev

Georgie Mae Lev, 85, of Flatonia, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 with family at her side.  She was born on January 30, 1938 to Fred Klozik and Augie Kocian Klozik in Witting, TX.

Georgie worked for Flatonia ISD as the cafeteria manager for 20+ years.

Georgie is survived by son David Lev; daughters Linda Mosby Crawford (Kent) and Laurie Dierschke (Michael); grandchildren Kristi Yon (Ryan), Kimberly Conrad (Nate), Tamara Hefner (Jacob), Branden Dierschke and Dylan Dierschke (Erin Bengtson, fiance); great grandchildren Kasen Yon, Taylor Yon, Everly Conrad, Norah Conrad and Harrison Hefner.

Georgie is preceded in death by her husband Joe Thomas Lev; parents, two brothers and one sister.

Pallbearers: Branden Dierschke, Dylan Dierschke, Brian Klozik, Patrick Klozik, Ryan Yon, Nate Conrad, Bruce Klozik and Jim Wiehage.

A funeral mass for Georgie will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia, officiated by Father Eddie Winkler.

Visitation: Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 6:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia.

Rosary: Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 7:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia.

Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Flatonia.
