Gerardo Vazquez

Gerardo Gonzalez Vazquez, age 54, of Moulton passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Yoakum Community Hospital.  He was born on June 2, 1969 to Rosalio Vazquez and Benita Gonzalez Vazquez in Dolores Hidalgo Guanajuato Mexico.    

“G” as friends and family knew him always had a smile on his face and always willing to lend a hand and help anyone out.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Sagrario Vazquez and his first wife, Maria Garza Vazquez.

He is survived by his wife Francisca Ramirez, daughters: Noely Skinner (Jarred), Miranda Gonzalez (Victor), Araceli Vazquez and Sophia Vazquez all of Moulton, seven brothers: Manuel, Ruben, Luz, Pedro, Luis, Jorge and Jose, two sisters: Rosa and Theresa, and five grandchildren: Lillian Skinner, Gwen Skinner, Ella Skinner, Truett Gonzalez and Tessa Gonzalez.

Attending Pallbearers:  Jose Vazquez, Jorge Vazquez, Luis Vazquez, Pedro Vazquez, Mario Pinedo and Isidro Colchado.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moulton followed by a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 23, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Maison officiating.   Burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Moulton.
