Joe Thomas Lev

Joe Thomas Lev, 88, of Flatonia, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 with family at his side.  He was born on March 8, 1935 to Charles F. Lev and Rossia Tupa Lev in Praha, TX.

Joe is survived by his wife Georgie Klozik Lev of 66 years; son David Lev; daughters Linda Mosby Crawford (Kent) and Laurie Dierschke (Michael); brother Daniel Lev; grandchildren Kristi Yon (Ryan), Kimberly Conrad (Nate), Tamara Hefner (Jacob), Branden Dierschke and Dylan Dierschke (Erin Bengtson, fiance); great grandchildren Kasen Yon, Taylor Yon, Everly Conrad, Norah Conrad and Harrison Hefner.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Pallbearers: Branden Dierschke, Dylan Dierschke, Brian Klozik, Patrick Klozik, Ryan Yon, Nate Conrad, Jacob Hefner and Jim Wiehage.

A funeral mass for Joe will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flatonia, officiated by Father Eddie Winkler.

Visitation: Friday, September 15, 2023 at 6:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia.

Rosary: Friday, September 15, 2023 at 7:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia.

Burial: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Flatonia.
