Leona Herzik, 97, of Praha, Tx., passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023. She was born on May 29, 1926 to Charles Pilat, Sr. and Annie Klekar Pilat.
Leona is survived by sons Marshall Herzik (Debbie) of Schulenburg, Tx and Michael Herzik of Houston, Tx; daughter Marcia Truchard (Jim) of Austin, Tx; eleven grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Leona is preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry Herzik, daughter Mariela Herzik Lemon, brothers Charles Pilat and Frank Pilat, and sisters Annie Migl and Della Janek.
A funeral mass for Leona will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Praha, Tx.
Visitation: Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 8:45 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Praha followed by a rosary at 9:30 AM.
Burial: St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Praha.
