Robert Molina Almaraz, 82, of Waelder Texas, passed away on November 30, 2024 after a long battle with Lewy body dementia caused by Alzheimer's. Robert was born on December 08, 1941 to Cesario and Maria Almaraz in Waelder, Texas.
In 1952, Robert met Victoria and they wed in 1961, going on to have four children: Ralph, Anthony, Larry and Misty Dawn.
Robert worked his whole life starting at cooking in work camps at age 12, field worker, and continuing on to construction in and around Waelder, building planes for LTV, part owner of a convenience store, construction in Grand Prairie, Union Painter in Houston, as sell as cabinet maker, handyman, etc...
After initially retiring in 2012, Robert continued working thru 2018. He spent most of his time living between Waelder and Richmond where he kept busy helping with family any way that he could.
Robert was predeceased by his parents, his wife Victoria, and sister Beatrice. Robert is survived by his four children: Ralph and his spouse Cynthia, Anthony and his children Richard, Amanda, and Denise, Larry and his spouse Jessica, and daughter Gabrielle, Misty and partner Anna. Also by his siblings and their families: Rosa Martinez, Rudy Almaraz, Josephine Rosas, Joe Almaraz, and Janie Melchor.
