Ruth Black

Ruth Black, age 91, of Flatonia, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024.  She was born on December 29, 1932 to Chester Brown and Elsie Brunner Brown.

Ruth is survived by daughter Kay Potter of Flatonia, son Donnie Black of Arkansas, brother Kennith Brown of Bay City, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Black, her parents, son Ronnie Black, daughter Terri Austin and two brothers.

A funeral service for Ruth will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia.

Visitation: Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia.

Burial: Colony Cemetery in Flatonia.
