Sharon Cosson, 72, passed away on March 11, 2025, in Flatonia, TX.

Sharon Cosson was born on October 19, 1952 in Gonzales, TX, to Fred A Rinehart, Sr and Alice Ruth Rinehart.

Sharon graduated from Reagan High School in Austin class of 1971. She started her career with the Post Office in Buda in 1984 and went on to become the Flatonia Postmaster for many years until she retired in 2012.

Sharon married Brad Cosson. The couple had 2 daughters, Jamema Cosson and Brenda Kloesel.

Sharon was best known for her love of animals (except squirrels), woodworking, her amazing green thumb, cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Her loving nature always made you feel like you were the most important person in the room.

Sharon is survived by Brad Cosson - husband, of Flatonia, Jamema Cosson - daughter, of Dallas, Brenda Kloesel - daughter, Rex Kloesel - son-in-law, of Weimar, Amethyst Cosson - granddaughter, of Pflugerville, Huxton Kloesel and Hayes Kloesel - grandsons, of Weimar. She is also survived by brothers, Jimmy Rinehart ( Frances Rinehart), Donnie Rinehart ( Susan Rinehart), Robert Rinehart (Donna Rinehart), Jerry Rinehart (Patricia Rinehart) and numerous nieces, nephews and many other family members.

Sharon is preceded in death by daughter, Connie, her parents, brothers- David and Fred Rinehart, jr.

A celebration of life honoring Sharon will be announced at a later date.

Memorial donations can be made in Sharon's name to Hospice of South Texas, St.Michael Catholic School in Weimar, or to charity of one's choice.
