Felipe Lopez

Felipe Jesus “Jesse” Lopez, 52, of Austin, TX, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on May 7, 2023.  He was born on November 21, 1970 to Felipe and Frances Gonzales Lopez.

He was a graduate of Flatonia High School, he enjoyed cooking, good bar-b-que and playing and listening to music.

Jesse is survived by Leann Garnica - partner, of Austin, Felipe Lopez - father, of Flatonia, Frances Gonzales Lopez - mother, of Barry, Jagger Lopez - son, of Smithville, Phoenix Lopez - son, of Smithville, Arianna Velasquez - daughter, of Smithville, Julianna Lopez - daughter, of Smithville, Ruben Lopez - brother, of Flatonia, Sammy Lopez (Charissa) - brother, of Cibolo, Carlos Lopez - brother, of Flatonia, Eloisa Harkrider - sister, of Bastrop, Estella Demings - sister, of Kyle, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be his nephews:  Justin Lopez, Sergieo Lopez, Jonathan Lopez, Joshua Demings, Michael Demings, Paul Demings, Andres Elarba, and Carlos Elarba.

Jesse will be truly missed!

The service for Jesse will be held on Saturday, May 13,2023 at 11:00 AM at Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia, TX.

Visitation: Friday, May 12, 2023 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home in Flatonia, TX.

Burial: Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Flatonia, TX.
